Where did the Wreck Room come from?
The basic concept for the Wreck Room came from Jacquie Trowell, a local Ottawa mother, wife and avid horseback rider. When her mother was battling cancer over a decade ago, Jacquie went through unimaginable pain watching one of her favourite people dying and suffering. It got to the point where the pain caused so much damage that the internal damage started to take itself out on the garage…that eventually had no more walls to it.
At this point a new fire was born inside Jacquie where she realized that there was potential here that needed investigating. So many people going through different struggles could use some form of smashing therapy and that’s where the glass started breaking.
Now the Wreck Room has been thoroughly conceptualized and developed with years of R&D. The activities we’ve created have literally changed lives and allow people to release or have fun on a daily basis. We are family owned and operated, our clients mean everything to us and we always make sure people leave satisfied.
